Cherry Hill Car Accident Lawyers report Car Accidents Continue to Plague New Jersey Roads

No matter how cautious a motorist may be when navigating New Jersey roadways, it is impossible to predict where and when every collision will occur. Car accidents continue to interrupt traffic flow on a daily basis, often resulting in serious injuries — or worse — to those involved. While some accidents may be unavoidable, others are completely preventable and are caused by poor choices and lack of reasonable judgment on the part of one or more drivers.

Apparently, three vehicles were involved in a recent collision that sent several people to the hospital. Officials reported that a 66-year-old man was heading west when his car struck another one that was driving in a southbound direction. Upon impact, the car that was struck then hit a vehicle that was to its right.

A woman in the first car that was hit became entrapped in her vehicle. After rescue workers successfully extricated her from the car, she was taken to a hospital for treatment of back, leg and hip pain. Two others, including the driver of the westbound vehicle, were also transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.

The accident remains under investigation. In similar New Jersey car accidents, victims who survive their injuries sometimes file personal injury claims against those deemed responsible. Serious injuries often lead to a need for long-term medical care which can cause undue financial burden in recovery. It is only right that compensation from a successfully litigated claim can be used to help alleviate some of that debt.
