In Memoriam: Stephen J. Busterna, Esquire (1957–2016)

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our friend and colleague, Stephen J. Busterna, Esquire, on Friday, July 15, 2016.

A graduate of Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Steve earned his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College, where he was active with the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He went on to receive his J.D. from Dickinson Law School and his M.F.A. from Penn State University.

Prior to joining Folkman Law Offices, P.C. in March of 2011, Steve was a Senior Claims Attorney in the Department of Insurance and the Assistant Counsel in the Department of General Services and the Department of Transportation with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Steve was also a licensed real estate agent as well as a professor of art history at numerous colleges.

Steve was a warm and gregarious man. He was quick to laugh and inspired those around him to embrace life.

We extend our sincerest condolences to Steve’s friends and family. He will be missed.
